The real problem

It's not a skills gap. It's a behavior gap.

Your people are trained, capable, and working harder than ever — and still hitting the same ceiling. That's the tell. What caps performance is almost never a missing skill. It's a handful of small, invisible behaviors nobody has named: the pause that becomes avoidance, the silence that should have been a question, the reaction that should have been a response. You can't lecture those away. People have to see them first.

The method

A mirror you can't look away from.

Pure Leadership Power isn't a talk you watch — it's an experience that shows a room exactly where it falls short, then makes the fix impossible to forget.

01

Story, not slides

Real, high-stakes stories from the ambulance, the boardroom, and the operating room — moments where behavior, not knowledge, decided the outcome. True, never motivational fluff.

02

Live demonstration

The centerpiece: Walter shows the room their own limiting behaviors as they happen — the interactive, occasionally uncomfortable moment people are still talking about a month later.

03

The 15-minute habit

Everyone leaves with one named behavior to change and a specific 15-minute daily practice to change it — small enough to actually stick, structured enough to compound.

What we'll name

The behaviors holding your team back.

Each one gets named, demonstrated in the room, and paired with a 15-minute daily habit to replace it.

Reacting when the moment called for a response.
Going silent when speaking up was the job.
Avoiding the hard conversation until it became a crisis.
Over-controlling instead of trusting the team.
Skipping recovery until burnout made the choice for you.
Assigning blame instead of running the debrief.
The 90-second behavior check

Where are you falling short?

Be brutally honest. Answer as you actually are in the hard moments — not as the leader you want to be, or think you should be. Answer in reality. This check is only worth as much as your honesty is.
01Under real pressure, I react in the moment instead of pausing to choose my response.
02When I see a problem or disagree, I stay quiet instead of speaking up.
03I put off the hard conversation until it's grown into a bigger problem.
04I hold on to control instead of trusting my team or family to carry it.
05I push through and skip rest and recovery until I'm running on empty.
Answer all five to see your result. Nothing is saved or sent.

Healthy leaders build healthy habits.

Not more effort. Not another program. Just 15 honest minutes a day — aimed at the one behavior that's been holding everything back.

About Walter

He's performed where behavior decided the outcome.

Walter Dusseldorp — "The Dutch Mentor" — is a former 911 and flight paramedic turned healthcare executive who led service lines exceeding $645M. He's made decisions at the bedside and in the boardroom, in the moments when the difference between a good outcome and a tragedy came down to behavior, not knowledge.

In 2024, a routine surgery turned dangerous when the standard approach failed mid-procedure. His surgeon abandoned the textbook and adapted — and it saved Walter's life. The behaviors aren't theory. They're the difference.
